Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world and the most effective way to break out of the cycle of poverty. Yet, millions of children in India are out of school. Before the COVID-19 crisis, 6 million children were out of school. When the pandemic struck, school closures affected the education of 247 children enrolled in primary and secondary schools. These children are not only deprived of their right to receive quality education, but they also lose their childhood due to child labor and being pushed into early marriage.
The government, through the Right to Education Act, of 2009, is making its way to enroll and retain children in school, especially from marginalized areas. However, whatever progress was made was disrupted due to the pandemic. While online education replaced regular classes, students from vulnerable communities without access to smartphones and the internet were left behind. School closures in India for two years led to a huge learning gap. then we support the education system and children so please help
